black screen reboot

Hey guys, like so many others I get a black screen at reboot. I tried safe mode no luck, I tried recovery no luck, I tried EVERYTHING but no luck, HELP PLEASE!!!!!!! -- Thanking you in advance for all your time in this matter. Sincerely, MeSnowStalker

Ive been getting the black screen on boot ups, It went from every other time to everytime i rebooted. I did not have the raid drivers installed being I dont have raid set up I didnt try and windows was reconizing that I did have something that allowed RAID. I disabled Raid in my BIOS and my computer hasnt had any boot up problems since. Everything seems to be working fine. My MB is a Gigabyte K8NS Pro. Hope this helps.

Have you got SLI. Vista does not seem to like it. Disable it in the BIOS if you have it, and try again. See post "Vista Does Not Like SLI"
